1. Services Provided

Lil & Laundry provides overnight wash and fold laundry services, which may include washing, drying, folding, pick up, and delivery of laundry items. The specific services and pricing will be outlined in our service descriptions or on our website. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue Services at any time without prior notice.

2. Customer Responsibilities

• Item Submission: Customers are responsible for providing properly sorted laundry items. We recommend removing any items from pockets, securing loose buttons, and ensuring that laundry items are free from dangerous items such as needles, sharp objects, or hazardous materials.

• Special Instructions: If you have specific instructions (e.g., washing at a specific temperature, air-drying, or using particular detergents), please communicate these in writing at the time of service request. We will attempt to follow these instructions, but we are not responsible for any damage resulting from special requests that may not be feasible.

• Prohibited Items: We do not accept laundry containing hazardous materials, illegal items, or items requiring special handling such as dry cleaning. Customers must ensure that their laundry does not contain these items.

3. Pricing and Payment

• Pricing: Prices for our Services are listed on our website or in-store and are subject to change. Prices are based on the weight of the laundry or the service requested (e.g., folding, ironing). Additional fees may apply for rush orders, special handling, or items requiring extra care.

• Payment: a non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking an appointment. The remainder balance is due when service is completed. We accept all major credit cards. visa, master, American,and discover.

4. Liability and Damage

• Limitations of Liability: We take great care in handling your laundry; however, we are not liable for any damage to or loss of items during processing, handling, or transportation, unless caused by our negligence. This includes but is not limited to shrinkage, color fading, fabric wear, or damage to delicate or fragile items.

• Claims for Damaged or Lost Items: In the event of damage or loss, the Customer must notify us within [time period, e.g., 7 days] of receiving their laundry. We will assess the situation and, at our discretion, offer a resolution, which may include a refund or replacement of the damaged or lost items, up to the value of the item, but not to exceed the amount paid for the service.

5. Pickup and Delivery

• Pick-up/Delivery Time: We will make reasonable efforts to ensure that laundry is returned within the time frames agreed upon. However, delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on external factors (e.g., weather, traffic, or technical issues).

6. Cancellation and Refunds

• Cancellations: You may cancel your order up to 24 hours before the scheduled service without penalty. Cancellations made after this period may be subject to a cancellation fee.

• Refunds: Refunds are provided at our discretion and will generally be limited to the cost of the service in cases of defective service or valid claims of damage or loss as described above.

7. Privacy and Confidentiality

• Customer Information: We respect your privacy and are committed to safeguarding your personal information. All personal data collected will only be used for the purpose of providing our Services and will not be shared with third parties unless required by law or necessary to fulfill the Services.

• Confidentiality: We will take reasonable measures to protect the confidentiality of your laundry and its contents. However, we cannot be held liable for any third-party access to your items beyond our control.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless lil & laundry wash and fold, its employees, officers, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of our Services, violation of this Agreement, or violation of any law.

9. Force Majeure

We shall not be held liable for any delay or failure in the performance of the Services caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, labor disputes, or transportation disruptions.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois. Any disputes or claims arising from or relating to this Agreement shall be resolved through binding arbitration in US, Illinois, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

11. Amendments

We reserve the right to modify, update, or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and the updated version will be effective immediately upon posting. Customers are encouraged to review these Terms periodically.
